Lush удалит свои аккаунты в соцсетях по всему миру в знак протеста

Компания Lush планирует удалить свои аккаунты в Facebook, Instagram, TikTok и Snapchat с 26 ноября во всех 48 странах, где она работает.

Исключением станут лишь Twitter и YouTube. Lush уходит из соцсетей в знак протеста против проблем безопасности на платформах, объяснили в компании.

«Так же, как в течение десятилетий не воспринимались всерьез доказательства изменения климата, сейчас игнорируются опасения по поводу серьезных последствий использования социальных сетей», — говорится в пресс-релизе Lush.

«Я всю свою жизнь избегал вредных ингредиентов в своих продуктах. Сейчас существуют неопровержимые доказательства того, что мы подвергаемся риску при использовании социальных сетей, — заявил генеральный директор Lush Марк Константин. — Я не готов подвергать клиентов этому риску».

Сейчас Lush решила удалить аккаунты в соцсетях после показаний бывшей сотрудницы Facebook Фрэнсис Хауген.

Она предала огласке внутренние документы компании, в которых говорится о вреде психическому здоровью подростков от использования соцсетей, а также хейтспиче и дезинформации, которые распространяет Facebook.

Стоит отметить, что это не первый уход бренда из социальных сетей. Ранее, в 2019 году Lush уже закрывал свои профили. Тогда бренд объяснял свой шаг желанием наладить «реальную коммуникацию» с клиентами.

EverJazz приглашает на новоселье – Коммерсантъ Екатеринбург

У клуба EverJazz появилась, наконец, постоянная площадка. Около полутора лет он арендовал на пару дней в неделю другие заведения, что было не слишком удобно и для организаторов, и для публики. «Бывало, звучит самое проникновенное, задушевное соло Сергея Проня, — вспоминает один из продюсеров клуба Алексей Глазырин, — но тут, перекрывая музыку, начинает работать автомат для колки льда — кто-то заказывает коктейль… Джаз все-таки требует особой атмосферы. Тут не подойдут ни большой пафос в духе заведения премиум-класса, ни демократизм паба. Давно уже хотелось иметь свой дом, где все будет на своих местах и как нужно — и общая атмосфера, и бар, и акустика».

Именно такая площадка и открывается 17 сентября. Расположена она в самом центре — в Доме кино, в подвальном помещении, где раньше была рюмочная. Стадия перепланировки и ремонта уже завершена, персонал, чуткий к джазовой атмосфере, набирается. И, что гораздо важнее, — джаз будет звучать ежевечерне, а не только по четвергам и субботам.

По случаю открытия готовится спецпрограмма «All Stars» с участием всех екатеринбургских звезд: Квартета европейского джаза Сергея Проня, David Orchestra, бэнда Moby J, а также молодых коллективов — Muchachos band Андрея Плетнева, квартета Lush Life и трио All Jazz.

И сразу же начинается череда гастрольных выступлений. 18 сентября на сцену EverJazz выйдет дуэт «Питер—Нью-Йорк», то есть гитарист Андрей Рябов и пианист Алексей Черемизов. Оба музыканта родом из Петербурга, но Рябов жил некоторое время в Америке.

19 сентября приезжает прямиком из Амстердама трио Mama’s Bad Boys. Главные фишки коллектива — спонтанность и непредсказуемость. «Их музыка,— сообщается в программке,— это сплав блюза, фанка, джаза и рока, преподнесенный в жесткой, ”черной” манере, приправленной неожиданными стоп-таймами и взрывными импровизационными кульминациями».

20 и 21 сентября в Екатеринбург приезжает со своим квартетом барабанщик Эл Фостер. Еще в 1969 году он был замечен самим Майлзом Дэвисом, уже тогда легендой джаза. Ударные Фостера звучат в ряде классических записей Дэвиса «электрического» периода. Майлз называл его одним из лучших друзей и спасителей своего творчества. Фостер играл с Дэвисом до 1985 года, а после ушел в свободное плавание, реализовал несколько успешных проектов, в числе которых — созданный им квартет.

Время начала концертов в клубе EverJazz осталось неизменным — в 20.00 в будни, в 19.30 — в выходные дни.
